Guam - The Guam Police Department's CAPE Program now as two new scooters for enforcing parking and littering laws. Guam Harley Davidson donated the two 2010 Auto Moto Scooters to the police department this morning.
Program Coordinator Sergeant Jovito Jasmin said, "Once we start utilizing the police reserve officers along with CAPE volunteers then it frees up a lot of the patrol officers time to do actual police work out in the streets while we take care of secondary assignments."
Each scooter is valued at $3,800, and GPD's Fleet Maintenance Team will maintain both units.
