Guam - The Bank of Guam kicked-off its 40-year anniversary by opening its doors in the newly constructed Mangilao Marketplace Building.  Bank president and CEO Lou Leon Guerrero said, "We are very excited Mr. Mayor that we are here in your village. Your village has grown tremendously. It has grown by 14 percent over the last ten years in population. It has many, many well established business establishments."

The Mangilao Marketplace was developed by Calvo Enterprises, whose vice president, Leonard Calvo, said, "If you look around Mangilao, this is the only bank in Mangilao.  And it shows the commitment to Guam. You hear the bad news about buildup and slow down - BOG just keeps on moving and investing in the community."

The new Mangilao Marketplace is a 12,000-square foot building. Other future tenants include Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
