GAA hosts Int'l Food Fair this weekend

Guam - For those looking to enjoy international cuisine this weekend, the Guam Adventist Academy will be hosting an International Vegetarian Food Fair. According to co-coordinator and GAA English teacher Joanne Kim, the annual event is student driven and will help raise funds for school supplies and equipment.

"The school emphasizes spiritual health and physical health and so for the well-being of the students and a lot of the community, we encourage them to eat healthfully and a vegetarian diet has proven to be a lot better for you than eating too much in the meats category," said Kim.

The event is slated for this Sunday at the Windward Hills campus from 11am to 3pm. Food tickets will be for sale on site.
