Guam - For the fourth time in a row, the Guam Parole Board lacked quorum to hold hearings today. Department of Corrections spokesperson Lieutenant Antone Aguon says out of the six members on the board, three again were not able to attend for personal reasons.

"We are still working the cases and preparing the packets as normal and hopefully the board members will get better and take care of their issues and get back to business," he said.

Nearly one hundred inmates have been waiting to go up for parole for the past year. The board is scheduled to meet at the Mangilao Compound on February 23.
