Guam - More than a dozen drinking establishments and mom and pop stores were shut down this weekend during Operation Dragon as they were found to be serving alcohol to underage drinkers or serving alcohol after hours. GPD officers and the Alcohol Beverage Control employees from Rev & Tax cited the establishments and gave them a 24- to 48-hour closure notice.

Among those found serving alcohol to underage drinkers: Casa, Club Fab, Romeo and Juliet, Las Vegas, Riverside, Abandon Ship, Chic Boy, and S.J. Market, Daily Mart, White Market, Ratiniaan Market, and Michikusa. The group also shut down establishments found serving alcohol after hours. Those businesses included: Linda's Karaoke, Oh Maganda, Peony Lounge, Kim's, Soju Restaurant, and Chic Boy.

Police note that Casa was shut down on Friday night and was ordered to remain closed but they were found open on Saturday resulting in a second shut down. GPD reminds businesses that are selling alcohol to check a person's age before allowing them to consume alcohol as violations will result in closure and possible arrest.
