Guam - Public safety briefings that were scheduled to be held this week have been postponed indefinitely as committee chairman Senator Adolpho Palacios will undergo medical examinations in the Philippines. The Guam Police, the Department of Corrections and Guam Fire Department heads were scheduled to provide updates on issues affecting their respective agencies including office relocation, repair and replacement of emergency response vehicles as well as volunteer programs and more.

The committee had also scheduled to conduct a public hearing on Bill 400, relative to the conduct of deliberations and voting on parole actions by the Guam Parole Board.  Senator Palacios says the public will be notified of when the meetings are rescheduled.
