Utilities Committees plans info briefing Thursday

Guam - The Legislative Utilities Committee will hold an informational briefing on the Guam Waterworks Authority this Thursday. The members are looking for the utility to provide updates on bond funded projects as well as the agency's goals for the coming year. GWA is expected to raise rates continuously over the next several years as it embarks on various projects to repair the wastewater treatment systems on island to come into compliance with a stipulated order from the District Court. 

The informational briefing is scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 in the evening at the Legislature's Public Hearing Room.
