Guam - The January 24 start of classes for over a thousand Untalan Middle School students at the interim campus in Tiyan is looking more and more achievable as volunteers have moved a good amount of collateral equipment already.  Department of Education deputy superintendent Robert Malay said, "They have moved more than 20 classrooms over to the Tiyan campus and will continue to work until the end of the day.

"There's a very good expectation, a very real expectation that more than 50 percent of the campus will be moved over to Tiyan tomorrow by the end of the day Friday."

UMS will occupy a total of 77 classrooms in Tiyan. In addition to assistance from the mayors office, Core Tech and teachers as well, volunteers are still needed and should you plan to volunteer please dress properly and meet at the Barrigada campus by 7:30 in the morning.
