Guam - While discussion has just gotten underway on whether to green light the relocation of Untalan Middle School to Core Tech facilities in Tiyan, members of the Guam Education Board earlier took action on issues related to the Guam Federation of Teachers.

A motion failed to rescind the GEB's decision of extending contract negotiations with the GFT. The vote was 6-3, however a motion passed to seek legal opinion from the Attorney General's office on the vote taken in October.

It was in October the GEB passed a motion to extend the Department of Education's current contract with the Union until August 2012.
