Power out in Yigo after car hits pole

Power was knocked out for nearly an hour this morning in Yigo after a vehicle crashed into a concrete utility pole along Route 1 near Mark's Hardware.

Guam - Power was knocked out for nearly an hour this morning in Yigo after a vehicle crashed into a concrete utility pole along Route 1 near Mark's Hardware. GPA field crews reported the collision.

Emergency officials took the unidentified patient to Naval Hospital to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the crash. Meantime, GPA will have to completely change out the damaged pole. Customers still experiencing power problems in the area can call 475-1472.
