Somerfleck meeting for writ on 23rd

Guam - It was almost a year ago that Guam Federation of Teachers member Carol Somerfleck filed a complaint to USDOL on voting for the presidency position for the union. As she waits for USDOL's response, Somerfleck is set for a court hearing on her writ of mandate against GFT president Matt Rector.

Somerfleck says rector continually fails to give all members ten working days to review changes to the constitution as well as fails to have amendment changes be approved by two-thirds of entire membership.

The court hearing is set for January 23 at 2pm.
