$187,000 granted for HIV testing

Public Health has been awarded $187,000 that will help the department increase HIV testing services and help reduce the number of new infections on the island.

Guam - Public Health has been awarded $187,000 that will help the department increase HIV testing services and help reduce the number of new infections on the island.  Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo announced the award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 

The federal money was made available through the Comprehensive HIV Prevention Project and will support the implementation of programs, enhance Public Health's capacity to refer and link people with HIV to medical care and other essential services.
