Guam - Although John F. Kennedy High School's cafeteria passed the Department of Public Health's pre-occupancy inspection yesterday, it may be awhile before the Guam Fire Department and the Department of Public Works can sign off on occupancy permits.
According to Captain Joey Manibusan of the Fire Prevention Bureau, the cafeteria's commercial cooking extinguishing system isn't completely installed, so GFD can't inspect it. Until all inspections are passed, meals for JFK students will continue to be prepared at a satellite site.
