Governor reacts to Japan EIS

Governor Eddie Calvo reacted to the Japanese government's release of the Environmental Impact Statement, saying he's hopeful this will set the stage for continued progress for the military buildup on Guam.

Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo reacted to the Japanese government's release of the Environmental Impact Statement, saying he's hopeful this will set the stage for continued progress for the military buildup on Guam. "At least the process has moved forward and from there now it's for action I'm sure by response by the Okinawa governor and his administration together with the Japanese national government," he stated.

"But we will see what happens over the next few weeks."
