Guam - Police are searching for a suspect who tried to kidnap a male minor on Monday in Dededo.  The boy who was running on Mendioka Street yesterday afternoon was approached by a man driving a teal Mazda truck who asked if he wanted to make money.  The minor said, "No" and kept running.

Police say the driver then pulled over in front of the teen and asked him again.  When the teen refused again, the driver reportedly punched the teen, causing him to fall to the ground. The man then tried to grab the teen and put him in the car but the minor was able to escape.  Police are asking for the public's help in locating the individual.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 472-8911 or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
