Guam - The federal government believes two Lexus vehicles registered to Betsy Tang Ho were purchased with proceeds from illegal gambling. According to court documents, the cars are registered in Ho's name, but were purchased by her husband, Wai Kam Ho, and his girlfriend, Jennie Pau.

In March and July of 2008, Wai Kam Ho allegedly asked Pau to write checks to the dealership for the purchase of two Lexus vehicles.  In return he gave her cash to deposit into her bank accounts.  According to court documents, Pau made several deposits so she could avoid filing currency transaction reports.  The feds contend the money to pay for the cars were the proceeds of illegal gambling that Pau admitted to supervising at the MGM Spa.

The defendants are charged in separate indictments for illegal gambling, money laundering and criminal forfeiture.
