Guam – It's going to be a happy holiday season for the families of 11 Guam Air National guardsmen that will be returning home over the next few days. The group is the last of the 254th security forces squadron that will be returning after a six-month deployment to Iraq. While deployed the team conducted air base ground defense missions that include perimeter patrols and security for base entry points. The team was also involved in the transition of operations, handing over security defense responsibilities to the Iraqi forces. Other guardsmen began returning to Guam in smaller groups since last month.
