Operation Dragon Slayer busts stores for fireworks
by Nick Delgado
Guam - The Guam Fire Department officially launched Operation Dragon Slayer today in an effort to stop stores from illegally selling fireworks. Captain Joe Flores says two stores were busted today as inspectors found a box of small fireworks at Hanna Market and Eden Market in Harmon.
The explosives were confiscated and will be destroyed. It is illegal to possess fireworks without approval from the Government of Guam. If stores are caught selling the contraband repeatedly, it could result in suspension of their business license.
Operation Dragon Slayer will continue into the New Year.
