Port establishes crane negotiating team

Complying with public law, the Port has established a team that will enter into negotiations with Matson and Horizon for the acquisition of one or more gantry cranes.

Guam - Complying with public law, the Port has established a team that will enter into negotiations with Matson and Horizon for the acquisition of one or more gantry cranes. The agency is mandated to acquire at least two cranes by December 31 of next year.  

They will be funded through a U.S. Department of Agriculture loan and consist of Greg Perez, Nick Captain, Frank Shimizu, Sr., Lea Leon Guerrero as well as the Port's board and management team. 

The team is scheduled to have its first meeting this Wednesday as a full assessment of the cranes is currently underway.
