Guam - The Guam Regional Transit Authority is looking to acquire more buses for those who utilize the service. Acting Executive Manager Felix Dungca says the transit authority is finalizing procurement with consultant Parsons Brinckerhoff for the purchase of as many as twelve buses that will be funded through a $1.5 million federal grant.

The additional buses are desperately needed as GRTA has had to cut hours and bus routes as it currently contracts ten buses from Kloppenburg Enterprises and funding has impacted those services. The authority meanwhile is still searching for a permanent executive manager.
