Guam - The Guam Education Board is slated to hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 29th at 8 a.m. at the Okkodo High School cafeteria.
Agenda items include the possible decertification of the Guam Federation of Teachers, the Okkodo High School expansion project, proposed revisions to the DOE calendar for School Year 2012-2013, and a request for a district implementation of an honors band course.
As we've been reporting, Department of Education Superintendent Jon Fernandez also hopes to use this upcoming meeting to ratify the motion for George Washington High School to undergo double session in order to continue upgrades to 17 of the Mangilao school's classrooms for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) upgrades.
