Okkodo High students donate to Rigalu

Guam - 'Tis the season of giving and students at Okkodo High School are doing just that. Business teacher Clint Gianchand says his class of over 30 students has worked since October to collect and wrap Christmas gifts for First Lady Christine Calvo's Rigalu Foundation to benefit foster children.
"Never underestimate the random act of kindness," he stressed. "I want them to know that everything that they're doing, despite being teenagers, that every small gift that they have, they can contribute and impact a life and a peer."
The class outdid their goal of collecting 50 gifts for the Foundation. The project will count towards their required 75 hours of service learning now required by Guam Public Law 30-53 to meet graduation requirements.
