Deployment of Navy system delayed
Full implementation of the Navy Commercial Access Control System program will be delayed temporarily.
Guam - Full implementation of the Navy Commercial Access Control System program will be delayed temporarily. According to the Joint Region Marianas public affairs, the setback is due to the stateside delay in providing system credentials to registered contractors on Guam in a timely manner.
Naval Base Guam will begin using the system today for all contractors who have registered credentials, however those who have not yet received credentials will still be allowed to use current base issued passes for a short time until the issue is resolved. The program increases the security posture of each installation while offering streamlines access for contractors and vendors.
