GPD wrapping-up shooting investigation

Guam - The Guam Police Department's Criminal Investigation Section is compiling the final reports to wrap-up the double-homicide/suicide case involving two women and a parks and recreation park ranger. Police Monday confirmed park ranger Nick Caudell shot Marites Mamaligsa and Isbelita Pamintuan before turning the gun on himself last week at an apartment building in Harmon.
Spokesperson Office A.J. Balajadia says it was through extensive interviews and detectives reenacting the series of events that helped solve the case. He says the incident is domestic in nature, but police have yet to announce a motive. "I don't know the exact circumstances regarding this particular incident involving Caudell and these two women, but certainly because it is around the holidays we are just going to remind our people that people's emotions fluctuate up and down. So if you have a friend that needs for you to reach out to them, please do so."
Balajadia could not say if criminal investigators will be releasing more information on the case.
