Guam - District Court Judge Consuelo Marshall will hear the Government of Guam's request for an order to stay a payment schedule for the amended permanent injunction next month. In an order issued today the judge provided notice that she will meet with the federal management team on January 24 and hold a motions hearing and status conference the following day.
The governor has requested that a stay be issued on any future payments until the court first approves an amended plan of action that is being drafted by the federal management team. The judge also ordered the team to provide a report on that plan as well as a quarterly status report during the January 25 hearing.
