Guam - The Guam Environmental Protection Agency's board of directors will hold a special meeting on Thursday to hear the appeal of Joseph Taitano. A notice of violation was issued against Taitano more than four years ago for running an illegal dump on his Yigo property.
A fire even broke out for several days and firefighters had to provide backfill to suffocate the flames.
While discussions of a settlement were in the works in the last few months, the appeal of the NOV will go before the board this Thursday at 5:30 in the evening.
