Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital's Board of Trustees is having a work session this evening to discuss operational functions as well as the possibility of hiring Lawrence Schindler as its new administrator.  Chairman Lee Webber confirms Schindler's possible future with the hospital will be discussed but he couldn't elaborate on what decision, if any, the board has made on Schindler's employment.

In the meantime, hospital management failed to meet yesterday's deadline to come up with a cost-cutting plan that would include an analysis of a possible 32-hour workweek for administrative staff.

Officials say the plan is still being finalized.
