Guam - The Consolidated Commission on Utilities is reviewing a proposal to purchase software that the Guam Power and Guam Waterworks Authorities could use that may lead to better monitoring of operating systems and lead to combined billing and sharing of information.  Commissioners are also expected to approve an additional budget for removing chlorine cylinders at the Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant in preparation for a $10 million upgrade there.

They're also looking to create a new position as the water meter system programming administrator, who will be in charge of monitoring water meters. The CCU will be meeting this evening at GPA's office in Harmon.
