Guam - Joint Region Marianas announced today that it will be implementing the Navy Commercial Control System Program next month at the former Pass and ID facility. Naval Base Guam Commanding Officer Captain Richard Wood says the program increases the security posture of the installation while streamlining access for contractor and vendors.

"What is mostly does is ensures those people quick and easy access to Naval Base Guam because they've already been embedded through the system by the Navy's approved system," he explained.

He says the system will be implemented on December 15 with another to open at Andersen Air Force Base at a later date.
