Guam - Strong winds from high pressure dominating the Northwest Pacific have created hazardous surf for the waters surrounding Guam, Rota and Saipan through the weekend.  So if you plan on hitting the beach this weekend, you are advised to exercise caution in the water.

The National Weather Service says surf is expected to build to 10' or more and a small craft advisory for hazardous seas until Monday morning at 6 o'clock.  Individuals are advised to avoid venturing near exposed reefs and beaches, especially those along north and east facing reefs as rip currents are life threatening.
