Guam - Hiring a new administrator and cost-cutting proposals are among the items up for discussion at the Guam Memorial Hospital's board of trustees meeting this evening.  Board chairman Lee Webber says there are a few concerns and questions that must first be addressed before the board makes a decision on whether to hire Lawrence Schindler for the administrator position.

Schindler was recently on Guam to meet with the board, management and medical staff and told KUAM News today that he is up for the work should he be selected for the job. The board is also expected to discuss cost cutting proposals that were raised during last week's information briefing on the hospital.
