Guam - We Are Guahan wants the public to know more about the Compatibility Sustainability Study that details the impacts of the military buildup. The organization will host a village meeting next Wednesday at the Yigo Senior Citizens Center to learn more about issues discussed in the study such as land use, noise, health and affordable housing.
For example, the study details helicopter operations at Andersen Air Force Base that will more than double by 2014 to more than 100 flights a day and the noise impact it will have on nearby areas.
The meeting will be held from 6-8pm this Wednesday. Comments on the draft CSS are due by December 9.
