Woman in Harmon accident dies in hospital

Guam - 24-year-old Maria Guevarra, who was involved in Sunday's early morning crash in Harmon, has died. A GMH nursing supervisor confirms the woman, who has spent the week on life support, was pronounced dead at 4:07pm.

She was the passenger inside the Toyota Avalon that lost control and struck a concrete power pole near the bus satellite on Harmon Loop Road. The 28-year-old man remains in stable condition at GMH.

Guam Highway Patrol Division officers continue to investigate the crash.
