Port Authority agrees to pay back fine

The Port Authority of Guam will pay back a $924,678.50 fine it imposed on Watts-Healy Tibbitts Joint Venture for an alleged illegal shipment in 2009.

Guam - The Port Authority of Guam will pay back a $924,678.50 fine it imposed on Watts-Healy Tibbitts Joint Venture for an alleged illegal shipment in 2009.  In a settlement, the Port Authority has agreed to return the fine under a letter of credit in favor of the agency.

The agency also agreed to return the $2,500 fine that was imposed on Joint Venture's shipping agent, Norton Lilly.
