Tenorio delivers Weekly Radio Address

Guam - Acting Governor Ray Tenorio delivered this week's address for Governor Eddie Calvo who left today to New York to market and sell the tax refunds and COLA bonds. Tenorio thanked Calvo for the opportunity to get some things off his chest and proceeded to take aim at the legislature who he believes blew the government's opportunity to get all past due tax refunds paid by this Christmas. The current bond effort will only pay part of the 2010 tax refunds. Acting Governor Tenorio said the reason why is because of politics and that we could have gotten more "If only the Democrat legislative leadership would have heard our case... would have heard your pleas... we would be refunding everything before Christmas," he said in his address.
