Guam - Today was the set deadline for the U.S. Department of Labor to file a lawsuit against the Guam Federation of Teachers in connection with union elections held earlier this year. GFT president Matt Rector says the federal agency wants more time and he agreed to another extension as they continue to investigate Carol Sommerfleck's complaint that she beat Rector in the elections.
The USDOL now has another six weeks to decide if it will pursue litigation.
