Guam - Traffic is blocked off along route 4 near the Hagatna McDonalds this morning after a reported seven car pile up. Guam Fire department spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero says a trash truck and six other vehicles are involved in the crash. The 911 call was received around 7:50am. Artero says the accident is classified as minor and only one injury was reported. He says the injured victim was transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital for treatment. Further details about the morning accident have not yet been released.
We should note this stretch of road has had its share of traffic related accidents this year alone. Motorists believe the problem is due to the uneven lanes. The Department of Public Works has said its still in the process of getting the proper friction course to cap off the road construction project.
