Guam - A public hearing has been scheduled on a bill that would require parental consent for children under 18 years old to get an abortion. No such law currently exists on Guam.  Bill 323 was introduced by Senator Dennis Rodriguez, Jr. and would mandate that unless the minor is emancipated, no person shall perform an abortion unless a notarized written consent of both the pregnant woman and one of her parents or legal guardians.

The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8 at 6pm in the Legislature's Public Hearing Room.
