Guam - Thousands of island Catholics flocked to island's cemeteries today to commemorate their lost loved ones. For Yona resident Rosa Santos, today's visit to Pigo Cemetery in Anigua was to remember deceased family members, including her mother, father, child, and brother-in-law.

She told KUAM News, "I think it's something that's very beautiful - it's one of the things that we as Catholics are privileged to celebrate. It just makes us aware that life does not end here on this earth, but continues onto eternity. And so it is a very special celebration. I have to say I'm very honored as a Catholic to have this day to do so."

Masses were held throughout the day to honor the faithfully departed.
