Dept. of Labor to oversee apprenticeship program

Guam - The territory now has a federally recognized registered apprenticeship program. The U.S. Department of Labor made the announcement today as its local counterpart can oversee Guam's registered apprenticeship system to improve opportunities for the local workforce. 

Governor Eddie Calvo submitted the request back in July for the federal recognition to bring more career opportunities to island residents.
