Guam - Island mayors have submitted lists to the Department of Public Works on where they need bus stops built. It's part of a program launched by the First Lady's Rigalu Foundation and watts constructors. The two organizations have partnered up to help get new concrete bus shelters built for the island's schoolchildren.

Mayors Council of Guam President Melissa Savares said, "They are trying to build a structure and trying to get companies or sponsors to build - to adopt each mold the structure is five pieces just like the prefab buildings."

The concrete shelters cost about $7,000 each. The first set will be placed in Inarajan, Mangilao and Dededo.
