Guam - Although he's wanted in New Mexico for kidnapping and rape, Christopher Woodrome is on house arrest. He was released to a third-party custodian today while he waits for authorities from New Mexico to take him back to the mainland to answer to the charges. Woodrome is accused of kidnapping and raping a female minor on multiple occasions.
Judge James Canto released him on a $50,000 personal recognizance bond and ordered that at least one third-party custodian be at home with Woodrome at all times. He was also ordered not to have any contact with the victim in the case or any female minor and to check in with probation twice a week.
Another status hearing is scheduled for November 8.
