Guam - The multi-family resort and commercial development in Tumon across the Fiesta Resort has until the next Guam Land Use Commission meeting to present a plan of action on how it plans to move forward with the project that has been at a standstill for some time. GLUC chairman Jay Lather tells KUAM News that although Ino Corporation has some internal financial issues to deal with regarding the project, GLUC is more concerned with regulatory issues presented before the board.

"But we want them to get in compliance with the Notice of Action that was issued to them," Lather said. "It's very important to us that they follow that NOA particularly, so we've asked them to get heir bonding in place and amend their development plan and their map, which they've done already."

The GLUC issued a resolution in early October for the project's representatives to address various concerns by next month. Lather says he recently heard from Ino Corporation that it was concerned over the deadline. He hopes some plan of action is at least presented without resulting in the GLUC permanently revoking its permits.
