Guam - Laurence Schindler will be coming to Guam in the next week to discuss the possibility of becoming the Guam Memorial Hospital's new administrator. Schindler is currently the director of operations and business development at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and is up for the challenge of running the island's only civilian hospital.

The GMH board will bring him to Guam between November 6-12 to allow him time to meet with the medical staff, hospital administration, Adelup officials and others in the local medical community. The hospital has yet to make him an official offer for the administrator position but it will be discussed when he visits next month.
