Guam - Ironwood Heights will soon start accepting applications for Phase I of its affordable housing units in Tamuning. A kick-off ceremony was held today showcasing some of 132 rental units that will soon be available to the community. In addition to one to three-bedroom units, it will have a community center, an afterschool program, an outdoor gazebo and playground.

Ironwood Housing's Carlos Camacho says the project is catered to working class families on Guam, saying, "The uniqueness about this project is we're giving families with certain income, the 60% earn median income, maybe say earning some $30,000 a year and give them opportunities to live in a quality product."
