Guam - The Guam Community College is scheduled to open its new Student Center come December 2011. Faculty, staff, and officials recently toured the new 22,000-square foot two-story facility that includes a plaza, student square, student lounge, tutoring center, computer lab, training room, student health center, and student services offices.
According to GCC President Dr. Mary Okada, GCC's enrollment is at an all-time high of 2,536 students.
The $3.9 million project was funded by ARRA with the Department of Interior funding the building's furniture.
