Thunderstorms believed to cause radio outage

This morning's lightning and thunderstorms are to blame for a three-hour shut down of several public safety agencies' Motorola Smartnet radio systems.

Guam - This morning's lightning and thunderstorms are to blame for a three-hour shut down of several public safety agencies' Motorola Smartnet radio systems. The outage resulted in firefighters using portable radios while police officers had to use their cell phones while out in the field.   

E-911 services were not affected.
