Guam - Employees of Able Industries are still waiting for their paychecks and today they took their concerns to the Guam Department of Labor. DOL director Leah Beth Naholowaa however referred them to the U.S. Department of Labor because able deals with federal contracts.

More than 200 workers had a payless payday last Friday and employees tell KUAM News they haven't been told when they'll get their money. USDOL meanwhile can only confirm that they are conducting an investigation at Able, but cannot provide any further information at this point including whether they've received additional complaints. Able was cited for failing to pay more than 500 thousand dollars in health and benefit wages to its employees.
