Guam - A police investigation surrounding an auto-pedestrian accident in Tamuning last week continues. An 18-year-old woman was hit by a Toyota Yaris along Marine Corps Drive near Atkins Kroll in Tamuning.

The woman has only been identified by police as a Chuukese female, and for the past several days was in critical condition on life support.

A GMH nursing supervisor says the woman recovered and was released from the hospital Sunday. GPD's Highway Patrol Division is still looking into the case.
