Guam - The New Macon Grady Education Resource Center is officially open. It's located in Yigo at the GAIN animal shelter grounds.  The center is named after Macon, a Dalmatian who endured significant abuse in a cage with no water, no food, and no shelter until he was rescued by gain volunteers.

The center is a place where the community can get answers regarding their pets for example how to house break them as well as other training resources. Officials say they'll also will have kids activities available, books, coloring books and interactive video games and other fun ways for kids to learn how to take care of their dogs and to bond with them and build relationships.

World Society for the Protection of Animals provided a grant to GAIN to create a center for animal welfare education.
